One of my new favorite things is to blend 8-10 bananas and carob powder. Carob powder has so many great nutrients and no caffeine. It contains a number of nutrients is high in fiver and vitamins A, B, B2, B3 and D. So for anyone living in a not-so-sunny place and craving some vitamin D, just eat some carob. For all of us HCRVs out there, carob is a pod from a fruit tree. The pod is roasted, so technically it’s not raw. Then the pod is ground into a powder and VOILA! the best chocolate substitute out there :)

Some yummy recipes!

So here is my version of “cereal” - 1-2 blended bananas, 1-2 cups of fresh mixed berries and 4 dates. Blend until nice and frothy. Serve over 4 chopped bananas :) Delicious!

Creamsicle for dinner any one? Yes, you can and I DO have ice cream for dinner. I blended 4 frozen bananas and 3 tangerines together. Serve in a bowl and top with a few chopped medjool dates.

31 days 100% HCRV

So, I started my journey on HCRV December 1st, but December 7th marks the first day I was 100%. It has been 31 days and I have no intention of looking back. It’s been really fun coming up with new creative ideas for meals like broccoli sun dried tomato pesto on zucchini “noodles”, LFRV guacamole and tonight I’m having sherbet for dinner. 5 blended frozen bananas and a few tangerines topped with fresh medjool dates. Yumm! I’ll post pictures tomorrow.

I can tell my body still has quite a ways to go with fully adjusting. All of the bad habits that I used to practice are “detoxing” out of my body. I feel really tired today, and I’m not sure if it’s due to the full moon, of this way of eating or both. Any ways I’m trying not to judge and just let it be and listen to my body. I’ve started p90x which is so much fun and I’ve been running consistently the past few weeks. I know that it’s only time before my body starts to feel like it’s in a healthy steady rhythym again.

Today is the Law of Pure Potentiality, I am absolute existence. Om Bhavam Namah

This is so perfect, as it always is, and I feel very peaceful knowing that everything will align soon enough. I am working towards something so much greater than just the physical. Have a wonderful Sunday everyone and I’ll post again soon, with awesome delicious photos!

-Namaste
