How perfect to have the Law of Detachment follow the Law of Intention and Desire. So know that we have planted the seeds of our deepest desires, let’s leave them be, give them love, and watch them manifest. Now remember that we must keep our intentions, desires and goals in mind, but surrender to the outcome.
*Om Anandham Namah* My actions are blissfully free to attachment to outcome.
Attachment is based on fear and insecurity. When you forget that the only genuine source of security is your true self, you begin believing that you need something outside yourself in order to be happy. Unfortunately, whenever your happiness is based upon something other than your true Self, insecurity arises because you know at a deep level of your being that whatever is bringing you happiness can be lost and therefore, has the potential to bring you pain.
According to the principles of yoga, the only true security comes from your willingness to embrace the unknown, the real of uncertainty. By being open to what is happening, rather than attempting to control how things unfold, you experience the excitement, adventure, exhilaration, and mystery of life.
Now that we have let the universe pull us in the direction that is most beneficial for us with us exerting the least amount of effort, let us put our attention on our intentions today, the Law of Intention and Desire. The quantum field, which is really just another name for energy and information, is greatly influenced by intention and desire. If we recognize that our physical human bodies are not separate from the universe we can put our attention and intention on changing the energy and information of both - your bodies and your world. Attention enlivens while intention transforms.

Ever wonder why we never get a parking spot when we think we will never get a parking spot? Try to counteract these thoughts today with intentions and desires that are beneficial for us and those around us. And to go a little deeper think right down your deepest intentions and desires today, write them out in the morning, so your attention is focused on what you really want/need today and maybe even out of this lifetime. Your intention has organizing power, so let’s plant these seeds and watch them manifest into what the universe knows is best for us. Now that we have planted these seeds of desire, let’s not dig them up, instead let us have trust in the universe and surrender the outcome to nature.

Today is the Law of Least Effort. Nope, it doesn’t mean be lazy, on the contrary, it means do the things in which you exert the least effort but achieve maximal benefits. If your body feels up to it, go on a long walk or engage in some sort of exercise for at least 30 min today. Maybe instead of doing your normal run, which may leave your muscles feeling tired the next day, go for a walk that’s a little longer. You won’t be straining as much so tomorrow you will feel okay to do some more exercise, and it’s still a great work out. And maybe with slowing down, you will notice things that flew by you last time.

The mantra for the day - I will achieve maximal benefits with minimal effort.
* Remember to do something today that makes you belly laugh :)
“A profound Buddhist doctrine speaks of a great river that flows through all of reality. Once you have found yourself, there is no more cause for action. The river picks you up and carries you along forever after. In other words, effort from the personal level, the kind of effort all of us are used to in daily life, becomes pointless. Once you become self-aware, you realize that the flow of life needs no analysis or control, because it’s all you. The great river only seems to pick you up. Actually, you have picked yourself up – not as an isolated person, but as a phenomenon of the universe. No one gave you the job of steering the river. You can enjoy the ride and observe the scenery.” -Deepak Chopra
